Songstress, tunesmith, and Decemberists collaborator Laura Veirs sure knows how to harness the sea in a plucky guitar strum. Combining old-world blues, Americana, folk, and wicked punk-style percussives, she creates lush songs beating with the heart of nature (albeit using a beatbox, loops, and pedals onstage).
