Uprooted Sunshine bring back the legendary Shanghai By Bus series to The Shelter. After over two years of laying down the best reggae sounds in Shanghai, Uprooted Sunshine are stronger and bigger than ever. With the full crew present, plus a list of special guests, Shanghai By Bus is an event not to be missed! This months special guest is Steve Barker.

Steve Barker is best known for his BBC radio show 'On the Wire'(www.onthewire.uk.com) which has been broadcast from the North West ofEngland for almost 25 years, he's also the dub columnist for the Wiremagazine, associate of the Pressure Sounds reggae revive label andlong-time collaborator with On U Sound legend Adrian Sherwood,sourcing most of the samples for the recordings of Dub Syndicate andLittle Axe. Steve has met and interviewed many of the reggae greats,inlcuding Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Burning Spear, Augustus Pablo, DennisBrown, Mikey Dread and many more. He has lived in Beijing for the last6 years where he occasionally guests as DJ Lao Lao Shu (Old Rat) forthe Upstepper Sound System.

This is also Yu Fah's last night with the soundsystem before he goes back to his homeland!
