Johnson & Wales University Hosts German Master Chefs Dinner

WHAT: Johnson & Wales University (JWU) will honor Chef Markus Kirchner from Maritim Airport Hotel Hannover, Chef Gerd Engelhardt from Stadtkrankenhaus, Chef Christian Troch from Sonnenalp Hotel & Resort, Chef Deborah Schumann from KÜCHE, and Chef Sabine Romeis from KÜCHE on Friday, November 5 at 7 p.m. These acclaimed chefs will demonstrate contemporary German cuisine featuring the Knoedel at the German Master Chefs Dinner.
After a pre-dinner reception with a selection of gourmet hors d’ouevres, guests will be treated to an indulgent four-course meal. The mouthwatering menu includes homemade head cheese from grass-fed veal, red beet soup with boscopp apple, braised beef-roulade filled with bacon, molten onions, red cabbage and bread dumplings as well as the traditional kaiserschmarn. Join JWU to savor these German delicacies and meet the masters behind it!

HOW: The scholarship fundraiser for the University’s College of Culinary Arts, is open to the public at $85 per person. RSVP required to 305-892-7578.
