Stowe always celebrates Vermont’s Foliage season with an exclamation point and that exclamation point is The Stowe Foliage Art and Craft Festival. Nestled between the mountains and the resplendent foliage, the white Camelot tents make for a perfect setting for an event. Many attendees make a point of making lodging reservations for this Columbus Day Weekend event. Since it is also Canadian Thanksgiving, be sure to book well in advance.

200 artists and artisans will be chosen from a vast pool of applicants to participate in the area’s most glamorous art and craft festival. This show represents the pinnacle of artistic quality in the region. Elegant pottery, glimmering blown glass, fantastic furniture, svelte clothing, wondrous weavings, luxurious leather, original art, and fabulous photography are some of the media on display.

More than shopping, this Festival offers delicious fresh food and live entertainment. There will also be a Wine and Food court featuring wine tasting and food sampling.
