Join Out of Order Improv for a night of on-the-spot hilarity. The group will unveil new games, deliver their trademark favorites, and feed off the audience interaction.
After seasons of stalwart, reliable family faire the Cranford Dramatic Club has decided to infuse the summer season with a heaping, blockbuster sized of disorder.
A staple for Union county theater patrons, CDC is bringing the Morris County based improv troupe OUT OF ORDER for a one night performance on Saturday June 7th at 8 PM entitled IMPROV JELLY.
While many will be turning to the cinema for their summer blockbuster entertainment, OUT OF ORDER's IMPROV JELLY hopes to be the event that is the talk of all post-memorial day barbeques. Performing without scripts, or sets, or costumes, the troupe uses a series of musical games, character pieces and interactive group scenes to put together a full length show experience. For the June 7th performance, it will all have an epic summer twist to it.
OUT OF ORDER brings a unique theater experience to Cranford, by involving the audience much more than a traditional stage show. "We really take all of our suggestions from our audience," said group director and founder Kym Frank. "They set the stage for us in terms of characters and locations and then we whip up some incredibly hilarious scene on the spot."
