Explore the history of these two small historic towns, located on the mouth of the Susquehanna River. We'll take a guided tour of Port Deposit (narrowest town in the US), featuring Tome Memorial United Methodist Church (c. 1872), Paw Paw Museum (c. 1821), and Bainbridge Naval Training Center, where half a million World War II recruits trained. We'll also look for American bald eagles that nest along the Susquehanna and feed off fish below Conowingo Dam. In the afternoon, we'll visit Havre de Grace, including the Concord Point Lighthouse and the Decoy Museum. Snow date 1/27. Naturalist: Sandy Staples.
