Anybody got an extra bike? Mine was stolen last summer. :(
(You can't ask to borrow stuff on craigslist, can you?)

How long is the trip?
Posted 3 years ago
I just called the number. The trip is 30 miles, spread over 7 hours. It is a different route every year, and is more of a tour than a bike ride (they teach you about Boston history, architecture, etc.) They are expecting 125-150 bikes, but I suppose it will be more this year, because the event was advertised in the Metro.

One of the coolest things I've ever done in Boston. An amazing experience. 6 hours 30 minutes, 29 miles. Stops on Comm Ave, several at MIT and Harvard, Cambridge Courthouse, over to Charlestown (rode right past my place up to Bunker Hill Monument.). along the waterfront in Charlestown Navy Yard, USS Constitution, around big dig, stop in Chinatown, down into South End, under 93 to new bike path near the Channel, then sprint to breathtaking sunrise on Castle island.
