Christo and Jeanne-Claude: Immortalizing an Idea

In order to finance his large environmental installations, Christo and his wife Jeanne-Claude sold prints, drawings, scale models and diagrams for their proposed projects. This installation, which includes a rendering of Valley Curtain is presented in conjunction with film screenings and lectures by Albert Maysles, Christo's principle documentarian, in the new IU Cinema on February 17 and 18. The exhibit can be found in the Gallery of the Art of the Western World, Doris Steinmetz Kellett Endowed Gallery of Twentieth-Century Art, first floor
