Songwriting Workshop

This workshop will consist of two sessions:
* Melodies and Words in Dynamic Combination will be presented by Deanna Walker, the founder and director of the Blair Songwriting Program at Vanderbilt University.

* Rhyming to the Nth Degree will be presented by Rick Beresford, who teaches commercial songwriting at Belmont University and is the director of the Kerrville Folk Festival Song School in Texas.

Both Beresford and Walker are successful staff songwriters for the Zavitson Music Group. Their songs have been recorded by artists such as Sweethearts of the Rodeo, Mickey Gilley, Kenny Rogers, and George Jones, among others.
