CHICAGO—Lincoln Park staple, Jack’s Bar & Grill, 2856 N. Southport Ave., is excited to present a Prince William and Kate Middleton Wedding Celebration on Thurs., April 28 from 7:30 – 9 p.m. The lovelorn of Chicago are invited to drown their sorrows with several drink specials, including: $5 glasses of Champagne, $3 Budweiser bottles, $5 Crown Royal cocktails, and $7 Crown Royal Manhattans. Guests will be treated like queens with complimentary hors d’ouevres, tiaras for the first 50 ladies in the door and a raffle ticket for the opportunity to win the ultimate “Princess Package” featuring Cubs tickets, wine, tickets to Porchlight Music Theatre’s THE KING AND I, and more. Princes are also welcome.

Jack’s features classic comfort foods including Homemade Chicken Pot Pie, Baked Mac ‘n Cheese, “Ma’s Open Faced Meatloaf Sandwich”, and Apple Pot Pie à la mode. Jack’s features various appetizer and entrée specials each day including 50-cent wings on Monday, $5 burgers on Tuesday, $5 wraps, salads, and fish tacos on Wednesday, $7 pizzas on Thursday, and half-price appetizers until 9 p.m. on Friday. Jack’s serves up daily drink specials, including $10 pitchers on Monday, $3 drafts on Tuesday, $5 Martinis on Wednesday, $15 beer buckets on Thursday, and $5 Jameson shots and Bacardi bombs on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, Jack’s serves a delectable brunch, which includes Challah French Toast and its Signature Hangover Burrito for $9 each. It also features a variety of skillets for $10, a $7 Bloody Mary Bar, and $10 Bottomless Mimosas.

Jack’s prides itself on being an “American Craft Beer House and Comfort Eatery”. Bartenders can put together custom beer flights of their craft beers. Customers can enjoy their selections at the bar, comfy booths, or sociable lounge area. During colder months, patrons can cozy up to the fireplace and stay awhile.

In warmer weather, Jack’s offers the quintessential Chicago patio complete with a full outdoor bar, fireplace, and several flat-screen televisions. When the “Big Game” is not on, a Bags game is available for friends and strangers alike to challenge each other to some friendly competition. Other summer events include live entertainment, a pig roast, and the Movies on the Patio series.

Jack’s is a great venue for private parties. Jack’s offers event packages for all celebrations—birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and anniversaries. Guests are encouraged to bring in their own music and video games to make each event highly individualized. Private event rooms are available upon request.
