The Lee-Fendall House is an architectural treasure featuring premier decorative arts and archival collections. Now restored to its early Victorian elegance, the house is interpreted as a Lee family home of the 1850-1870 period, presenting an intimate study of 19th century family life. The house is complemented by its beautifully restored, award-winning garden. On display are Lee family portraits, and personal items such as jewelry, documents, letters and books and more. The Museum also houses the largest public collection of furniture manufactured by the Green Furniture Company. Tours are offered at the top of each hour, with the last tour beginning at 3 pm. Those planning a weekend visit are encouraged to call in advance as the museum is occasionally closed for private events.
