***Amaziah*** (Roots Reggae)
Amaziah is a singer/songwriter whose voice transcends the mundane with warmth and vitality. Her first band Blue Mirage were a reggae funk outfit, after which she joined The Rockstones Reggae band, further developing her love of Roots music.
Amaziah now has a flourishing solo career with her backing band The 1ness and with their expanding reputation for excellence have supported legendary artists such as Lucky Dube, Bunny Wailer, The Mighty Diamonds and Chakademus and Piers and toured with many more including Max Romeo, Alton Ellis and the Ethiopians. Limpopo Club is a much loved outfit Accredited with the promotion of African music in London UK & Europe .The Club has been behind the African Music Revolution from the 80s to the present.Running a successful Club from the Africa Center from which they launched some of the famous bands on the major international stages. Bands like Kanda Bongoman; Baaba Maal;Angelique Kidjo Oliver Mutukudzi Kasai Masai amongst many others too numerous to mention.
