There’s nothing more patriotic than seeing a line of decorated boats cruising down the creek for the Murrells Inlet Fourth of July parade. This year’s theme is "Freedom is Great in 2008.". Boat and dock decoration contest entry forms are available at Garden City Realty, Captain Dick’s Marina, Booty’s or the MI2007 office. Entry costs $5. You only need to enter if you want to be judged in the decoration contest. Anyone is welcome to join in the parade at no charge.
