Winner of a Tony Award for Best Special Theatrical Event, and an Emmy Award for Best Choreography, Blast! is a unique evening of entertainment steeped in the traditions of drum and bugle corps, marching bands and color guards. A cast of 35 brass players, percussionists and visual performers, who manipulate a variety of props, similar to a color guard, bring the showmanship of outdoor pageantry inside to the theatrical stage. They turn the athleticism, musical talent and kaleidoscopic movement of the traditional half-time show into a distinctive music and theatre performance.
