Funk music finds it's roots in Soul and Motown, with it's insatiable groove moving the world into a frenzy, paving the way for a transcendence in music that changed popular culture forever. Thus we have Disco. A fever swept across the gay underground in Mid-70's America. Nightclubs soon threw their doors open, so everyone had a chance to move to the sounds that were eclipsing all others. Soon the world had disco fever. It was influencing fashion, film and design. It continued to do so for several years. It spawned new derivative genres such as Hi-NRG, Italo-Disco and House music. Whilst it's funky mother, resided in the background, happy in the knowledge "Funk Started It All".

So, for one night only, Ace of Clubs and The House bring you a night of Funk and Disco along with everything else it influenced.
