Art for Wapiyapi
Saturday August 13, 2011 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm

Denver, Colorado 80212 Get Directions
DENVER CO – On Saturday, August 13, 2011 Wapiyapi will host it’s annual Art for Wapiyapi fundraising event. The event will take place from 4-7pm at the Tennyson Street Galleries at 4430 Tennyson Street, Denver, 80212.

Art for Wapiyapi is a growing event to recognize the amazing artwork created by kids with cancer and their siblings during their week long experience at Camp Wapiyapi. Four galleries will show over 160 pieces which will be auctioned off in a silent auction during the event along with several works of art donated by local artists.

Kids are free and tickets for adults (16 and over) are $20. Your ticket gets you: Three hours of art, live music, appetizers, unlimited soft drinks and alcoholic beverages and face painting! All proceeds will benefit Wapiyapi.

Come and enjoy four hours of art, music, food and fun and if you have the winning bid on artwork, you can take the experience home with you!

Whether you're new to Wapiyapi or a longtime supporter, we hope that you will join us to support these amazing children and their families!
Tickets can be pre-purchased at www.wapiyapi.org or will be available at the door. For sponsorship, registration, and other information, call 303 534-0883 or email aaron@wapiyapi.org or visit our website www.wapiyapi.org.

The mission of Wapiyapi is to offer a community of hope and support to families facing childhood cancer. Our free summer camps and retreats offer a safe, nurturing environment in which children with cancer and their family members may experience the natural freedoms associated with childhood. Through participation in a variety of group activities, our participants learn that they do not face their challenges alone. For more information visit www.wapiyapi.org.
