Summer is in swing as we bring a little Brazilian funk to the Bush. Friday 12th marks the return of our friend Rodrigo. Fresh from his exploits at Rio Carnival. His samba band ‘Santa Clara’ has seen him play to partying crowds of over 6000 people. Catch him live with his trio for one special night. Expect funky sambas, sing alongs and plenty of tropical swing.

Rodrigo Lampreia is back in London for 1 month of gigs and Festivals. He caused a stir last summer when he sang alongside Amy Whinehouse.

Back in his native Brazil, Rodrigo plays with Rio’s hottest new samba band Santa Clara. He joins us tonight with his killer trio. Expect funky sambas, sing alongs and plenty of tropical swing. The band are poised and ready to bring the beats to the Bush. You will be shaking it down with a smile and a swagger, like carnival come early.

The Fontanas are in town for a summer special. The band have been busy playing up and down the land at some of the UK’s biggest festivals. Fresh out the fields, they return to their spiritual home at Cover Up. Recent activity has seen band members playing Wembley with Professor Green and Las Vegas with Tom Jones, but this month they’re back, even harder. Solid, floorshaking, Brazilified funky goodness. Guaranteed dancefloor fillers. Aint nothing but a party going on!
