The so called parade of the "Festival of Chariots" was a big disappointment. Not being a follower of their religion, I was expecting something like other indian parades (e.g. Fremont) that last for 1..2 hours with many floats.
This parade has EXACTLY THREE CHARIOTS plus one extra float in front of the procession. Three chariots to celebrate their three major incarnations of god / deities. Nothing more, nothing less.
And as much as I admire the indian culture and their history and accomplishments and very fascinating music -- a procession that ONLY sings "Hare Krishna" and nothing else was not what I was expecting.
A rich culture like the Hundu/Indian has developed a lot of variety to praise their lords. Very disappointing to hear only that one song all along the parade. Only near the end of the event there were some different performances on the stage.
