Movimientos celebrates the launch of their brand new website and the start of their label Movimientos Records with a clubnight at one of their favourite venues - Dalston's Passing Clouds. The night will feature the usual groundbreaking mix of documentary film and Latin music.

Live music comes courtesy of the band whose EP features as the first release on Movimientos Records - Wara. The band are truly one of the most exciting new acts to emerge from the London Latin scene with their blistering take on Cuban timba and salsa mixing it with Hip Hop, Soul, Funk, Reggae and Dubstep. It's like classic Cuban band Irakere re-invented with a 21st century urban London sound. On the night we welcome another Movimientos favourite and highly unique act Lokandes who provide a similar re-interpretation of Latin music, this time bringing the melodies and rhythms of the Andes bang up to date with a very funky twist.

As usual Residents DJs Arias and Cal Jader fire up the dancefloor with their incendiary mix of Latin beats from salsa and cumbia to electro-tropical bass, urban and global beats. Plus the all Brazilian crew Udigrudi host upstairs with their uplifting party blend of Brazilian beats, tropicalia, afro-latin sounds, reggae and funk.

And upstairs early there will be a screening of 'Mama Choco' presented by Refuge in Films.
The film follows Paulina, a displaced mother of 26 children, in her quest to find a place that she and her family can call home in Cali, the third biggest city in Colombia.
