John Worley and the SJ Jazz Festival All-Stars

Join Trumpeter John Worley as his large ensemble, WorlView 6.0, will be performing as part of a "pre-event" to the upcoming weekend's San Jose Jazz Festival. The free performance will be in by the Hotel Valencia at Santana Row.

John Worley is the consummate trumpter/flugelhornist, equally at home as both a lead and jazz trumpeter, in a variety of styles. He possesses both a fierce power and strength and also a potent lyricism.

Worlview 6.0 includes Bay Area luminaries Murray Low (piano), Tom Bockhold (bass), Paul Van Wageningen (drums), Kristen Strom (sax) and Wayne Wallace (trombone). He will be adding special guests from Bari Bari, Geoff Roach, Fil Lorenz (bari sax) plus guitarist Ed Johnson son from Novo Tempo. It will be an exciting evening of jazz from all corners of the America’s and beyond.
