Palo Alto, California 94301 Get Directions
As many businesses today are beginning to understand, online collaboration - with staff, customers and partners - may be the next big thing, enabling businesses to evolve and scale at higher levels of productivity, efficiency and innovation. In fact, many believe the age of community is already here. Come meet three technology innovators -- from SAP Labs, Linden Lab (the creators of Second Life), and Vyatta -- who are advancing the art and science of community, both inside and outside the enterprise.

Topics we will explore: tools and rules for building online communities; internal communities and corporate culture; customer and partner communities; economics, politics and the future of online life.

Third Thursday co-organizer Giovanni Rodriguez will be moderating the discussion with:

Jeff Nolan, a former VC and strategist who is spearheading the adoption of social media within SAP Labs; Robin Harper, VP of Community for Linden Lab; and Dave Roberts, "Community Cruise Director" for Vyatta.

Topics we will explore: tools and rules for building online communities; internal communities and corporate culture; customer and partner communities; economics, politics and the future of online life.

Panelists:
