The Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a street party. This family event will create the perfect festive environment for our neighbours and community partners to get to know us and help celebrate our golden anniversary.

The day will include non-stop entertainment from Sunshine State (with guitarist James Bryan of the Philosopher Kings and Nelly Furtado), iDRUM, a percussion based company/ensemble, Garen Markian, a multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter, Capoeira Camará, performers of a form of martial arts infused with music and self-defense and Hip Hop music from Elements of Surprise to name a few. Elephant Thoughts will amaze your children with their science based fun activities in addition to games, bubbles, kite making and many more surprises.

The event will be taking place on Michener's back patio located at McCaul & Elm Street and is in conjunction with the Baldwin Pedestrian Sunday event. You will not want to miss this opportunity to eat, dance, play and celebrate!
