EXHIBITION SCHEDULED TO OPEN: September 7, 2011
AT GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY’S SPAGNUOLO GALLERY

Ben Ferry, a native Washington D.C. artist, will exhibit large-scale landscape paintings inspired by research travel in the upper Midwestern, United States. Awed by the extremes of climate and scale in this region Ferry distills and interprets his sensory experiences of place through the vision; synesthetically transforming sound, smell, touch and taste into a visual gestalt.

Ferry has exhibited in several exhibitions around the Washington DC Region since receiving his MFA from The George Washington University in 2001.

A public reception will be held on Wednesday September 7, 5:30-7:00PM

The Spagnuolo Gallery is free and open to the public from 12-7:00PM Tuesday – Friday, Saturday 12 – 5:00PM and Sunday 11 – 4:00PM, Closed Monday, Tuesday and school holidays.
