The Rhythms plays thrilling contemporary urban African music that is powered by afrobeat rhythms and funk grooves.

Lead by bassist Femi Sofela of the African Jazz Allstars fame the Rhythms draw influences from Africa, Caribbean, South America and America. Their dazzling virtuoso playing, multi musical influences and blazing passion for performance make the group a live sensation.

For this concert they are joined by vocalist and dancer Grace Okunsanya for a night of low bass lines, chiming guitar riffs and intricate rhythms.
