Chicago, Illinois 60602 Get Directions
Chicago Human Rhythm Project, the world's first presenter of American tap dance and contemporary percussive arts, presents Rhythm World, the company's annual summer festival of classes, workshops and performances. Faculty will perform alongside youth ensembles and guests from around the globe. Don't miss this opportunity to see the largest city-sponsored concert of tap dance in the history of Chicago, featuring some of the best tap masters in the world! Performers will include 2008 Artist in Residence Guillem Alonso, CHRP's resident ensemble BAM!, Tre Dumas' Jus'LisTeN, a soloist from Barbatuques and 5 Youth Tap Ensembles performing the classic stair dance.?

Eleven albums down the line and Smog's Bill Callahan remains an enigma. A consummate storyteller in tradition of Leonard Cohen, Smog songs are car-wreck compelling, unsettling, unsentimental narratives delivered in an irresistible rich brown baritone.
