Cubacheche – event organiser of Cuban music and dance events presents ‘Baila Londres’ – the authentic Cuban dance party. This monthly event takes place in the conveniently located and friendly venue – Charlie Wright’s near Old St.

Top Cuban DJs are on hand to deliver some of the best Cuban music available – old classics and brand new tunes straight from the streets of Havana to London! The next party takes place on 22nd October with the usual tasty mix of Cuban music from one of our Baila Londres regulars, DJ Green Papi (Oriente Star Sound).

Head down to this great venue, with friendly people, good vibes and true Cuban style party atmosphere where we’ll be featuring a splendid selection of salsa, timba, son, changui, timbaton and some late night funky and Caribbean flavas to shake things up a bit.

The dance class this month will be with guest teacher, Rueda World Champion 2010 – Nikola Medic. His classes are always popular so advance registration is recommended to guarantee a place. Please use the special form on the Baila Londres page of the Cubacheche website.

Nikola previously danced with the Havana Belgrado Team and started the 'Havana Londres' dance school after his recent move to the UK. You can’t miss him on the dance floor where he’s rapidly setting the capital’s Cuban Salsa scene on fire!

A talented dancer with exceptional musicality, his Ruedas are a fusion of everything: afro, son, rumba, reggaeton, hip hop, crazy footwork, and above all, plenty of comedy!

With his endless energy and infectious personality, be prepared to laugh, sweat and take your Rueda to a whole new level.
