AFRI-KOKOA is a London-based monthly art-club and a creative forum for artists that are influenced and inspired directly by modern African cultures to create new Afro-fusions. defn: “music + art + creativity.”

The FONTANELLES are a new 10-piece band, featuring players from the jazz, afrobeat and dub/reggae scenes in London. Having played with the likes of Mulatu Astatké, Johnny Clarke, Chartwell Dutiro, Cinematic Orchestra, Zero 7, Roberto Pla, Plan B and many more, the band formed whilst playing for the FELA! musical at the National Theatre.

AFRI-KOKOA aims to explore the creative fusions of music and art reflective of the cultural collisions of Africa and its Diaspora as expressed in modern Afro-culture; ranging from art, music, poetry, storytelling and dance to painting, film, fashion and craft.
