Did you miss the opening reception for BAVC’s second installment of ROHSTOFF [raw material], titled Site Specific? On July 8, 2008, from 6-8PM, you have another chance to see the pieces by local artists Rebeca Bollinger and Anthony Discenza, Nate Boyce, Brook Hinton, Sade Huron, and Laura Splan, created at, for and with BAVC. Bollinger and Discenza’s “Universal Moments” will be installed in its original version as a multi-channel piece in the digital audio suite.

After this second installment on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, 6-8PM, the pieces will be on display every Thursday from 6-8PM at BAVC, 2727 Mariposa Street, 2nd Floor. Rebeca Bollinger and Anthony Discenza’s “Universal Moments” will be shown in a single channel version rather than the original multi-channel piece.

In addition to Tuesday’s full installation, there will be an installation of three of the six pieces on Saturday, July 5, 2008, between 3-5pm. “Universal Moments,” in its multi-channel form, as well as Sade Huron’s “Andragogy,” and Nate Boyce’s site specific piece, will be on view at BAVC, 2727 Mariposa Street, 2nd Floor.
