BRAHMS, CHOPIN AND RAVEL,
AND A TOUCH OF GERSHWIN.
Treat yourself this 20th November with a classical and jazz classical program from internationally acclaimed pianist Sarka Budinska, awarded with a Masters’ Degree from the Prague Academy of Performing Arts in 2008. Sarka will delight Sydney audiences with a programme of Three Intermezzi by Brahms, Barcarolle and Ballade No. 4 by Chopin, and Sonatine by Ravel.
After intermission, as a departure from a totally classical event, Sarka introduces Australian singer Pamela Fisher for a selected repertoire of George and Ira Gershwin’s 20th century masterpieces from Porgy and Bess, including Summertime, It Ain't Necessarily So, and Someone To Watch Over Me, amongst many.
Share with us the grace and vitality of these two performers bringing us highlights from the Romantic Age to the 20th century.
The recital will be on Sunday 20 November at the Polish Club Auditorium, 73 Norton St. Ashfield. Tickets $18 or enquiries on 9798 9846 or 0424 124 113.
