Hello Everybody:
Sang Matiz is happy to announce our next show in the city at El Rio Bar in the Mission. On this occasion, we will be sharing the stage with our very talented friends: Cradle Duende and Los Nadies. Please feel free to wear Christmas Costumes in this wonderful Saturday night.
We hope you can make it as we are preparing a very energetic and fun filled evening with new songs and popularl Artists/Dancers from the ...Bay Area like Justin Ancheta & YeYe Suarez!!

"Cradle Duende" presents a combination of Kezmer and Flamenco “klezmenco” with an infusion of reggae and cumbia dance rhythms. Cradle Duende takes its name from the Spanish word “duende”, in reference to a musically heightened state of emotion, expression, and authenticity; and a merging of disparate musical traditions that each evolved from independent cradles of civilization. Cradle Duende brings the strength of deep cultural roots into the party atmosphere.

"Los Nadies" have created one of the freshest sounds to come out of the Bay Area’s latin music scene in a long time. Filling a vacuum in Northern California that their southern counterparts Ozomatli deliver so well in L.A., Los Nadies bring a keen mix of politics, poetry, street party and musicianship every time they step on to a stage.Their unique blend of rock, nueva trova, South American folklore and Afro-Latin rhythms follows and expands on the tradition of celebration and protest put forth by musicians like Silvio
Rodríguez, Manu Chao, and Santana.

Songstress and dancing storyteller Johanna Suarez “YeYe” is an interdisciplinary artist and arts-educator who incorporates traditional dance and music from the African Diaspora in Latin America, original poetry, theater and lyrical compositions into a performing journey of emotions in search of collective healing and unification.
