Respected performance artist and champion of the avant garde, David Hoyle presents his alternative countdown to the holiday season. Traditionally a time for joy and festivity, the Christmas season can also be the most depressing time of year for the disenfranchised, those alienated from their families and anyone else who resents being told to be happy.

Helen Noir will perform 'I'm Nothing I'm Nobody’, a piece about bitterness, longing and belonging that was written for her trademark operatic vocals - in this case, original music in the style of a Baroque aria - juxtaposed against a trance-influenced soundtrack. The piece also showcases the results of her recent experiments with lighting, for which she has collaborated with photographer and supergeek Darrell Berry.
