LIFT Asia 08

LIFT Asia 08, a three-day event taking place in Korea on September 4, 5 and 6, will offer inspiring talks and activities to look into the future of our networked society.

The Internet is now part of our society, innovation goes incremental and the important Web breakthroughs are behind us (email, IM, social software, etc.). Pioneers are moving to new frontiers but what are the upcoming changes? Which domains will be soon influenced by technological developments? What will be the new relationships between upcoming technologies and sociability? How will different cultures react to this? LIFT Asia 08 will address these questions by looking at fields such as virtual money, new forms of social media, networked cities, digital nomadism and the new breeds of robots.
