On Friday the 3rd of February Rootikal welcomes back the one and only David Rodigan.

The last couple of years have seen Rodigan's reach grow phenomenally as he's been embraced by people discovering his unique talent for the first time. From dubstep nights in east London to massive festival crowds the world over, there seems to be no stopping the takeover by the man known as Ramjam. At Rootikal Rodigan will be carrying a diverse selection to cover all bases from classic rocksteady to the freshest pre-releases plus, of course, the legendary dub-plate specials that have helped him dominate soundclashes over the last three decades. We at Rootikal were overjoyed to hear that he'd been recognised in the New Years Honours - he's somebody who truly deserves it.

The Rootikal crew of David Hill, Stuart Patterson and Mr Faso, plus guest selector Sweetie, will be spinning in the basement alongside Rodigan.

The lounge upstairs is given over to our friends Size Doesn't Matter, London's longest running 45s only night, who will be digging deep in their 7" collections for some choice soul and funk gems. Representing SDM are Si Kurrage and Mr Shiver plus their special guest DJ Prime Cuts.

Every time we host a Rodigan night it's a capacity turnout, so we'd recommend getting down early.

The session starts in the basement at 9.00pm and runs until 3.30am.
