Fine Art Class

Monday Classes meet January 23, 30, February 6, 13, 27, March 5, 12, 19
Shorter sessions can be arranged.
Students learn different methods of drawing, and painting and of composition; the class also explores the use of texture, perspective and color theory to create finished works of art. Subjects include plants, animals, people and how to incorporate them in a background. Examples are made for each project, and students encouraged to creatively alter the project to make it their own. Most projects normally take 1½ to 2 class days to complete students are encouraged to work at a their own pace. All projects use professional-quality art materials, some of the materials to be used will be gouache, water-soluble pastels and fine art drawing pencils. Only finished work is sent home, and all work is matted or mounted, and one artwork from each student is selected and framed.
Class tuition for the 8-week class is $160.00 plus a supply fee of $35. Total of $195.00
First to Fourth Grade - Monday 3:30 to 4:30
Grades 5 and up - Monday 4:45 to 5:45
Adult & Teen - Monday 6:30 to 7:30
