MCCLA invites you to a celebration of Latino artists active in the Occupy/De-colonize movement, hosted by Roberto Lovato of presente.org. Featured artists include Melanie Cervantes, Rosa Gonzalez, xago Juarez, Silencio Muteado, and Yosimar Reyes. Audience Q and A follows the discussion!

Since its inception last October, Latino Poets, screen printers, popular theater practitioners, musicians and dancers have focused their talents to proudly declare, "Somos (tambien) el 99%!" These artists have profoundly impacted the education and mobilization of thousands of everyday people participating in actions throughout the US.

This event will be broadcast live on Comcast Cable Channel 76 and streamed live at bavc.org.
