Damn That Dutch bring their passion for Dutch house and electro to music fans all around the world through the Damn That Dutch Music Show hosted by Darren C. At the end of 2011 they brought this passion to the heart of East London to launch their club nights. The night was such a massive success that they are returning to The Shoreditch in February to create the magic once again.
The next event is set to be even bigger than the first, featuring a very special guest DJ/Producer from Holland, Lucky Charmes. Lucky can be found in countless line-ups at the biggest festivals and in prolific venues next to big names like Chuckie, Erick E, Gregor Salto, Sidney Samson, Roog, Benny Rodrigues and Don Diablo. Lucky serves dance floors with his unmistakable trademark beat driven sounds and of course his biggest track to date, “Getcha Damn Hands Up”, co-produced by Tony Verdult, (No1 in the Dance Tunes Top 100 chart and No8 in the Beatport charts).
Dutch house music has a massive following in Europe and America. The pioneer of the genre DJ/Producer Chuckie explains the potential of the genre, ‘A lot of people worldwide can identify with the sound, it’s not a Dutch thing anymore it’s gone global’.
Damn That Dutch was born when DJ Darren C realised that the London club scene has become so promoter-led that the easiest route to playing the music he wants to London crowds was to put on his own club nights. Thus enabling him to expose and showcase the type of dance music he loves.
It was his time as a resident DJ at super club Disco Orange, Sunny Beach Bulgaria, that Darren discovered his love for Dutch house. On his return to London he noticed there was a gap in the London house music scene. It was apparent that there were no clubs/venues putting on specialist nights of this genre, so he decided to take the matter into his own hands and create the Damn That Dutch brand.
