BluesMix
Funky, soulful Blues from London band BluesMix. Their 2nd album release ‘Biding My Time’ received lots of praise from the music press. Blues Matters magazine called it “Top class funky blues”. Classic Rock magazine gave it a glowing 8/10 review. RocknReel called it “an absolute treat!”. The album was featured on the Paul Jones BBC Radio 2 show and enjoyed Radio airplay as far afield as the USA.

Blues in Britain magazine said BluesMix are “Up there with the best of the UK Blues scene”.

With a focus on original material the band have a groove oriented approach to the Blues blending with an appeal that typically spans genres. The band have toured the USA, France and also backed leading artists including Amy Winehouse and Jools Holland.

The band will release their 3rd album “Flat Nine” on February 13th and will be playing songs from that album tonight.

Emma Divine
An exceptional blues vocalist 'with a voice big enough to eclipse the sun'(Bete Noir) who has sang at leading venues including Ronnie Scotts, 606, Vortex, Shephards Bush Empire and this year has had the privelage to perform with her band at Vintage Festival. She also hosts a monthly blues & jazz evening at Volutpe. Emma will be back in the studio to finish her debut album in the new year.

New Orleans specialist DJ Lil' Koko (Kate Pieroudis) cut her teeth with a residency at Ronnie Scott's, DJing and co-promoting the explosive monthly 'Thursday Mardi Gras' nights with Dom & The Iko's. Spinning rare New Orleans RnB, funk, blues and soul with a few detours into the sweaty Bayous of Louisiana, she tours London to bring the rich musical history of New Orleans to the masses.
