Three renowned local musicians perform works by Beethoven, Ravel, Prokofiev and Shnitke in a delightful evening of chamber music.
Violinist Alexander Barantschik joined the San Francisco Symphony as Concertmaster in September 2001. His many awards include first prizes in the International Violin Competition in Sion, Switzerland, and the Russian National Violin Competition.
Violinist Alona Tsoi has been a First Violinist for the Orquesta del Principado de Asturias, Spain, the Netherlands Ballet Orchestra, and Radio Philharmonic Orchestra Netherlands. Her mentors include William Pleeth, Louis Krasner, Alfred Schnittke and members of the Borodin Quartet.
Pianist Era Lifschitz previously graced the stage of the OFJCC with Julian Milkis of New York and local cellist Eugene Lifschitz.
