Kids Ice Fishing Clinic

Open for children ages 6-12 years accompanied by a responsible adult(s). Children will be taught the methods of successful ice fishing given by local ice fishing experts, and then they will be allowed to fish through a stocked frozen hatchery pond. Sleigh rides will also be given during the event by a local horse enthusiast. A light lunch will be provided. Event is sponsored by the Friends of the Upper Mississippi River Fisheries Service, a support group of the Genoa hatchery and 2 other local area Fish and Wildlife Service fisheries offices, the LaCrosse Fish Health Center and the LaCrosse Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office.
