KUNST-STOFF will be collaborating with German vocalist/conceptualist Blixa Bargeld (Einstrürzende Neubaten, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds) and experimental musical theater company Nanos Operetta for The Execution of Precious Memories. The performances will take place in San Francisco and Los Angeles in 2008.

The Execution of Precious Memories was initially conceived by Mr. Bargeld and has been performed around the world. In each instance, a questionnaire about people's precious memories is gathered locally in area where the performance will take place, and then transformed through a poetic process into a performance for the stage. The objective is not a social study or cultural statement, but rather the interpretation of found text as art.
