Sustainable knitwear label Keep & Share will bring their Travelling Store to Winchester School of Art this July, offering a rare chance to touch, try on and buy their quirky knitted pieces. The event, which is open to the public, is timed to coincide with a three-day international conference entitled “In the Loop: knitting past, present and future”.
Amy Twigger Holroyd’s sustainable knitwear label Keep & Share is based in rural Herefordshire and mainly trades via the website, www.keepandshare.co.uk. However, from time to time they like to jump in their van and set up the Travelling Store, a ‘pop-up shop’ which appears for just days at a time.
Amy – who will be running the store – has a particular fondness for Winchester, having studied MA European Fashion and Textile Design at the School of Art from 2002-3.
It will be situated in the Gallery Foyer of West Side Building at Winchester School of Art, and entry is free.
Opening times: Wednesday 16 July 12-7pm, Thursday 17 July 10-7pm
