The Brockport Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Jonathan Allentoff, will present their American Heritage Concert on Thursday, March 8th at 7;30pm in the Seymour College Union Ballroom on Residence Drive at The College at Brockport. Free admission and free parking in adjacent lots. The concert will feature clarinet soloist Eric Rush, vocal soloist Emory Morris, narrator Bill Andrews, the Golden Eagles String Band, and the Brockport College-Community Chorus. The program includes "The Star Spangled Banner" arranged by Peterson/Allentoff, Puccini's "The Girl of the Golden West Prelude", "Broadway Concertino for Clarinet and Orchestra" by Styne/Allentoff, "A Tribute to Stephen Foster" arranged by Allentoff, Copland's "Grovers Corners", and the "Erie Canal Rhapsody" by Allentoff, Hullfish, and Clickner.
