Pablo Gil has performed or recorded with artists and groups such as Mike Stern, Edward Simon, Dave Samuels and the Caribbean Jazz Project, Adam Rogers, Mike Holober, Dave Kikoski, Nicolas Folmer and the Paris Jazz Big Band, John Benitez, Steve Turre, Ron Carter, Patato Valdez, Juan Pablo Torres, Mario Rivera, Luis Perdomo, Gerry Weil, Alfredo Naranjo, Aquiles Báez, Orlando Poleo and Soledad Bravo among others.

His performances have taken place in France, the United States, England, Panama, Côte d'Ivoire, Mexico, Peru, Oman, Russia, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Bonaire, Colombia, Portugal, Turkey and Senegal. He has issued five CDs as a leader: Major Delights (2002), Simbolos (2004), Empatia (2006), Suka Jazz en directo (2007), and Baladas (2008).

He is currently a Fellow in the Frost School of music in the University of Miami.
