What Is It? Insights into Abstract Art

When you stand in front of an abstract painting do you wonder, “What Is It?”
Nashville artist, Sue Mulcahy, will lecture and lead a discussion intended to enhance understanding of how and why artists develop abstract imagery. Her work is part of the current Shades of Gray exhibit at the Frist.
After the lecture, we will tour the “Color As Field” and “Shades Of Gray” exhibit located at the Frist.
