"Man's best friend" has not always been man's only furry friend. Hear how people of colonial Chesapeake had many different types of "favorites". VCU Professor Dr. Sarah Meacham gives insight into how colonials favored pets in this free lecture. A small reception and tours of the historic house will follow the lecture.
