New York City's Vampire Weekend have caused a considerable stir with their live shows, digital EP and their debut CD. Rippling guitar lines and quirky cross-rhythms inspired by classic Afro-pop underscore their catchy tunes with lyrical twists. Here's one that's in sync with their unabashed preppie vibe: "Can you stay up to see the dawn, in the colors of Benetton?"
