Halifax Harbour treatment plant is now up and running, the leftover
toxic sludge has started to be sprayed on agricultural land in the
province. Is it safe? Our health and natural environment may be at
risk. A free public screening followed by a discussion on the land
application of sludge or biosolids on farmland in Nova Scotia. All
welcome. Organized by the Nova Scotia Environmental Network (NSEN) and NSPIRG.
