Livermore presents 'Hip Music for Kids'

"Family First Night" will present the award-winning band, The Hipwaders. The Hipwaders perform rock music for kids that also appeals to adults.

The title track from the band's latest album, "Educated Kid", reached #1 on the XM Satellite Radio and the band was invited to perform live at XM studios in Washington DC. Last summer,The Hipwaders performed alongside Perry Ferrell, Ben Harper and Patti Smith at the 2007 Lollapalooza Festival, in Chicago.

The Hipwaders have previously won 2 Parent's Choice Awards and their latest album was ranked in the Top 5 album releases of the year for kids and families by the "Fids & Kamily" group of writers, programmers and others involved in the music industry.

Bay-Area based, The Hipwaders have performed across the country and their music has been heard on PBS, Discovery, MTV, Bravo, E!, Superstation, TLC, Style Network, and The Travel Channel.
