This is such a cool event. The Pittsburgh Friendship Quilts is huge. Mr. Rogers and McFeely signed the quilt as did newscasters Bill and Patty Burns. This is a snapshot of Pittsburgh History and is a fun treasure hunt spotting people and community members and groups you recognize. Don't miss seeing it.

The quilt show's over, and the Pittsburgh Quilt has been returned to its owners, The Carnegie Science Center, and placed in storage.
This Quilt was on display for only six months in 1988-89, and three days for our quilt show. Please contact the Carnegie and let them know that this is no longer just a science project. It is an amazing work of art, and a piece of Pittsburgh History. The quilt needs a proper home. Please contact the Carnegie and let them know you care.
