Benefit to Save Washington Square Park

Composer/conductor/multi-instrumentalist David Amram, folk legend Odetta, and actors Keir Dullea (“2001: A Space Odyssey), John Ventimiglia, (Artie Bucco in “The Sopranos”), and Mia Dillon (“Crimes of the Heart”), headline a benefit concert to raise funds to save Washington Square Park.

Performances of songs, poetry and prose, created by artists of the past and present, who frequented Washington Square Park and Greenwich Village, including readings with music from Mark Twain, Bob Dylan, Thomas Wolfe, e.e.cummings, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Eugene O’Neill, Gregory Corso, O. Henry and Jack Kerouac. With a silent auction and door prize.
